Inglot Leopard Make up | Product list!

Hey dolls,

So if you saw my Snapchat last night you will have seen that I attended a Masterclass with Fiona Hogan in Inglot Liffey Valley. It was to learn how to create a leopard look for Halloween. I really enjoyed it and learned so much! Fiona done such a great job in teaching it to me that when I came home, I was able to recreate it without looking back at a single note I took down! I think that is a sign a job well done.

A few people requested a full product list so that's what I'm back today to give you!

What I'm going to do is give a full product
list from what I noted that Fiona used and then if I used anything different to do the same job I will write that alongside too!

All products I list are Inglot unless stated otherwise.
Eyes
  • Eye make up base   (I used NYX HD Concealer)
  • White shadow 318- to set base
  • Burnt orange shadow 335 - into and above crease
  • Brown shadow 609 - under crease & onto lid
  • Dark brown shadow 329 - outer corner
  • Medium Brown pigment 82 - inner corner & onto lid
  • White 318 shadow - under brow
  • Gel liner 77 - wing liner & on waterline (I used Smashbox Jet Set liner in Midnight Black)
  • Black shadow 63 - outer corner to blend out the gel liner (I used K.D. from the Pipps Palette)
  • 63 again - to line water line again & under eye
  • 609 again - blend out the black shadow in outer corner into the crease
Base

  • HD Foundation shade 77 - all over face    (I used Inglot YSM in 49 - any will work)
  • White Highlighter powder 59 - pack and layer on under eye, down the nose, center of forehead and over top lip.   ( I used the white shadow 318)
  • Bronzer shade 64 - heavy contour under cheekbone, side of temples, chin, sides of the nose up to beginning of brow.   (I used Makeup Gallery(DEALZ) bronzer in medium 2)
  • Mix shadow 329 with contour down the sides of the nose
  • Brown shadow 609 - under eye to blend.
  • Black shadow 63 - under eye tight to waterline (K.D. Pippa Palette)
  • Brows - dark brown shadow 329
Leopard design
  • Nose - Gel liner 77 and thin liner brush     (Smashbox jet set as above)
  • Lips - Black Kohl pencil        (any black liner will do the same!)
  • Leopard whiskers - Black Kohl pencil
  • Shadow 609 - smudged along side of face to create leopard spots, carry down the neck
  • Black shadow 63 - roughly outline leopard spots with thin liner brush
  • Brown shadow 609 - go back over spots
  • Pat glitter onto spots and inner corner of eye. I cant remember what one used - but I used MAC 'Reigning Riches' glitter.
Finish off with fake lashes or mascara and that's it!
I used Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara as always!

Of course we don't all have a full supply of these Inglot products by our side to use, but if you have anything at all similar it will work just as good!!

So that's it! I hope you all pick up something from it, give it a bash! It is a lot easier than it looks! Everything can be purchased from Inglot.ie.

If you have any questions or you recreate the look, let me know I would love to hear back from you! :)

Have a lovely Thursday!

Love,
Aoife

Shopping Haul | Pennys, Boots, Inglot, H&M, Tesco, Schuh!

Want to know what I bought this week? Keep reading dolls!

Hello again!

Hope you all had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. You may have seen me on my Snapchat during the week asking if any body wanted to see what I picked up while out and about. The answer was yes! So here it is, just some bits and pieces I have picked up over the week and thought to share with you!

Up first - Boots!
Luckily enough I have a student discount in Boots all of the time with my Student Leap Card! I can use this on top of already discounted products as well as everything else which is the bomb, so needless to say I never walk out of Boots empty handed! Hence, it is my favourite one stop cosmetic shop!

L-R : No7 - Beautiful Skin Eye Makeup Remover, Powder Blush and Eyebrow Sculpting Pencil. Sleek True Color Lipstick, Matte Me Lip Cream, Gloss Me Lip Gloss and New Solstice Highlighting Palette.

Nip + Fab -  Bee Sting Fix Lifting Mask & Glycolic Scrub Fix. Soap & Glory Peaches and Clean Deep Cleansing Milk. Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff.

I have never tried any of these products before apart from Tough Stuff, but I have heard fantastic things about them! I needed a new facial scrub and mask so I'm excited to try out these two Nip + Fab products. Likewise with the Soap & Glory Deep Cleansing Milk, but first impressions : smells amazing and literally melts away makeup!

Let's take a closer look..

No7 Blush in 'Berry Crush'  A warm and vibrant berry shade. I have been looking for a blush like one especially for this time of year, rather than pinks.
Sleek True Colour Lipstick 'Smother' Another delish plum/berry shade. It has a sheen finish and applies flawlessly.
Sleek Gloss Me Lipgloss 'Angel Falls' This is a nude lipgloss. I can see where it gets its name, it really is the perfect, delicate nude color.
Matte Me Lip Cream 'Fandango Purple' Yes, another berry shade!! This is a beautiful matte lip cream which doesn't dry out the lips. Looks matte but creamy too. Gorgeous!

Next, the stunning new Sleek Face & Body Highlighting Palette 'Solstice'!

This has been on my wishlist since I seen it up on Sleek Makeup's Instagram! It has 2 baked powders, 1 luxurious cream highlighter and 1 silky shimmer powder.
As you can see from my swatches, they are super pigmented. I cant wait to test them out! Hopefully they blend out seamlessly.

You can find all of these bad boys on Boots.ie.

***************************************************************************************************************************

I can't pop into Liffey Valley without popping into Inglot! This time I picked up two pigments, I need to add a few to my kit so here is what I picked!

I choose the AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow in shade 18 which is the blue/turquoise colour followed by the Body Pigment Powder in shade 150 which is the gold/mustard shade. I think they will work well together so that is why I picked them!

***************************************************************************************************************************
Almost there I promise!! Stay with me! These next few pieces are from.... TESCO!
Casual Pink and Black Shirt

Black Polo Neck Swing Dress

Pretty grey and white lanterns for my room and some tealights to pop into them. They are 'White Linen' - I love this scent!
I couldn't find these items online to link them for you unfortunately, but they are in stores now,

***************************************************************************************************************************

Last few things...

My favourite and most worn shoes for every day has to be my Converse. I was in need of a new pair so I picked these up in Schuh, again with my Student Discount!

I will be lost without all these discounts when I leave college!

I spotted this jumper in H&M and thought it would be perfect with a pair of jeans for college. The colour is a bit different from what I have too.

The Exfoliation gloves and NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'Milk' were all picked up from Hickey's Pharmacy in Manor Mills Maynooth. The Tea Tree Oil can be got in Euro Giant!

Last but not least I said why not add these in as well, the good oul Pennys essentials! Mammys know best, she picked up these two for me this weekend. A pretty glittery t-shirt bra for €3.50 and a lace detail black t-shirt bra also €3.50!
Seriously, you can't go wrong!

***************************************************************************************************************************

Well done ladies, you have managed to get this far! I hope you enjoyed my first haul blog post and maybe something even caught your eye! Let me know in the comments below.

Happy shopping!

Review | Glamglow Masks!

Hello ladies,

I am back to tell you all about my all time favorite face masks! Face masks should be a staple part of your skincare regime. They have been proven to have fantastic benefits for your skin. This post will be focused on three masks from the Glamglow range, a range which I am sure you have all heard something about before. I'll go into each one in detail below..

1. Glamglow THIRSTYMUD™

So lets start with the ThirstyMud!  This is an extreme hydration mask, providing deep and instant results. It most definitely hydrates, nourishes and replenishes the skin. It has been recommended time and time again from all the celebs and beauty experts.

What's inside you ask?? Let me tell you..

~Dewdration™:   A blend of actives containing hyaluronic acid and citric acid for deep hydration; boosts and locks in moisture for a dewy, youthful look.

~GreenEnergy™:   A blend of actives containing raw honey and ginger root for radiance and detoxifying; coconut provides immediate skin conditioning.

~Hydrapack™:  A blend of actives containing botanimoist, moisturizing sugars and acids from apples, oat bete glucan to soothe and calm the skin, and hydraclay to trap and retain moisture in the skin. ~Teaoxi Olive Leaf: Delivers naturally moisturizing linoleic acid.

Does it work? - Yes it does! I have tried and tested this for months and I can confidently say it does what it says and more! ThirstyMud is best left on overnight for an intense treatment. It does not leave an oily layer on your skin the following morning, it soaks right into the skin leaving it feeling plump and silky. Your skin will be extra thirsty during these cold months, give it some extra TLC with this.

Can I just add, this smells Divine!! I love it and I just can't get enough! and I need to repurchase, we are scraping the ends of it in my house at this stage!

2. Glamglow POWERMUD™

Next we have my favorite of the cleansing masks! This is a Mud to Oil, Dual Cleanse Treatment. This will take your face mask / cleansing routine to a new level! It is a deep, powerful yet gentle detox and cleansing treatment for your face which applies like a mud and after left on for 10 - 15 minutes, rinses off as an oil.

This is suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin, so that's a win win!

It is a non - greasy and fast absorbing mud, which will get right down into your skin and rid all of the buildup, dirt and oil on your face!    Hello.... fabulous skin!!

Personally, I love this mask as it isn't as heavy as the YouthMud but does an amazing job, it also doesn't sting the face and it leaves your skin feeling super clean and cleansed with soft velvety touch. I haven't found anything as of yet that has matched up to how much I love this mask for all its qualities!!

It won't let you down!

3. Glamglow YOUTHMUD

Last but not least, it's the YouthMud. A mask said to be a '10 minute Anti - Aging Facial in a Jar'!!
This mask gives immediate results, it is used religiously by some of the biggest Red Carpet and Hollywood Entertainment names!

It leaves your skin glowing right after first use while minimizing pores and brightening your skin. It leaves your face soft and smooth when you rinse it off due to its gritty texture it exfoliates. All of this is done without removing natural oils.

You will literally feel this mask at work, you leave it on for 10 minutes and minute by minute feel the tingle and tightening effect!

YOUTHMUD consumer study results:
- 100% agree it brightens dull skin
- 99% agree skin is noticeably softer and smoother
- 97% agree it produces immediate results

(results from Millies.ie)

Glamglow masks are literally holy grail in my opinion!! They can be used one after the other as a mini at home facial too! Come on, don't we all love a little TLC. It will be money well spent for sure.

I have yet to try the rest of the Glamglow range but I have high hopes.

Let me know if you get your hands on some!

Glamglow can be purchased from

*Cocoa Brown | Passion Persistence Pink Event!*

Hi guys, I hope you are all having a great week.
I recently done my very first blog post! It was as a guest on 'Walker Girl' and the support I received blew me away! So, I am here today just sharing it with you all on my blog as well.
I will fill you all in on what went down at Marissa Carter's #PassionPersistancePink Event on Sunday the 27th,    for the launch of the two new Cocoa Brown Products!

But first, let me introduce myself! My name is Aoife, and I talk and post about all things make up, beauty and lifestyle related. This is my very 1st blog post! So bare with me and of course, I am sooo excited to do it while my own blog is in process :)
To know more about me and see what I do, check out my other accounts which I will link at the end!

So on Sunday the 27th of September, Marissa Carter launched her two new products. In true Cocoa Brown style, they went all out and held a huge event. Marissa demoed  her 'Tontouring' technique, Xfactor Make up Artist Julia Carta was there to show us a natural, flawless, glowy make up look on Marissa! We got demos of an Ombre lip by the dolls themselves Rosie Connolly, Tara O'Farrell and AJ Fitzsimons using Flormar Cosmetics, had Afternoon Tea, girly chats, spot prizes, and we got the ultimate #SwagBag to take home.

I can confidently say that this event broke every expectation I had.....it took me by storm! I mean what girl would not LOVE everything about this event. We got the pleasure of listening to all of those beautiful ladies speak words of wisdom and share all of their beauty secrets with us. They were incredible, and to say Marissa Carter is an inspiration would be an understatement!!

I just wanted to give you gals a little insight into my day instead of just purely a review of the two new products (which are amazing!). Needless to say I will show you them and what's inside my #SwagBag!

Here is a look at what I done with my face for that day! I LOVE Autumn/Winter Season when it comes to Make up, some of my favourite colours come into play and I'm not someone who is afraid to use them!! :)
